One day, he finds a man washed up on the shore. At the hospital, Dr. Wut diagnoses the man with amnesia and his uncle volunteers Lava as his caretaker. Lava names him Wave and reassigns all his duties to the stranger. Wave is surprisingly fussy and inept at manual labor, hinting at a pampered past.

Every summer, the sleepy New England town of Falcon Beach ignites, and the surf and sand aren't the only things heating up. When the townies and the rich kids who summer at Falcon Beach collide, the sparks fly. The rest of the year, they live in different worlds, but come summer they share a strip of beach where anything can happen. People fall in love, fall out of love, get into trouble and take risks they never thought they would. For a group of friends and the outsiders they meet, this summer is about holding onto the sun and fun as long as they can... because the future is right around the corner and it's hard to know what you want or what you should do. For now, they're making the most of every minute while it lasts. There are no right answers, just the endless possibilities of summer. And that’s why some of us have often felt subconsciously forever locked inside a cabin without any way out. “The cabin” is a comedy that entertains us by talking of a man who, in a surrealistic way, does his best to fall into a fatal trap.

樱井广海（反町隆史饰）被同居的女友赶出了家门，开车去加油站时，加油工告诉他夏天若没有事干可以去海边玩玩。铃木海都（竹野内丰饰）则是一个大公司的白领，由于工作中不顺心，也请假去海边。他们同时住进了和泉家的民宿旅馆。主人的外孙女真琴（广末凉子饰）还在上高二，大家相处得很融洽。一天真琴捡到了一个漂流瓶，瓶内的纸上只有两行字能看清：God Bless You, We are beach boys. 　　后来真琴的妈妈来信让真琴去东京，外公只好决定关闭旅馆，两位客人也被迫离开。但回到各自原来的环境中后，他们不自禁地想起海边度过的日子，于是又不约而同地回到了海边…… 　　大海、青春、爱情，没有理由错过本剧。
